Newly founded Satellite Magazine holds a writing contest, themed “cities”.
We’re holding our first writing contest this fall. The winner will receive $500 and be published in our second issue, which will be released in early 2012.
The contest theme is cities. All forms are welcome—journalism and fiction, essays and criticism, long and short—and the theme is open to interpretation.
To enter, send work to submit@satellitemagazine.ca in an attached .doc file. In the body of your email please include a brief summary of your piece. Previously published material not eligible. Simultaneous submissions welcome.
All submissions due by November 1, 2011. Winner will be notified by December 1.
